EGL 307 - Graphic Narratives


This course will provide students with the critical skills necessary to understand the complex literary genre of comics and graphic narratives. Students will read, analyze and write about a wide range of graphic narratives and comics, with attention to the visual techniques, textual cues, and storytelling strategies deployed by diverse graphic literary artists. Covers the Genre/Media topic for the English major.

Prerequisite(s): WRT 102  

Advisory Preq: One literature course at the 200-level or higher
