WAE 190 - Intermediate Writing Academic English
A course to develop students’ writing skills through practicing basic structures of written English. Students work on increasing their accuracy and fluency at the sentence level; enhancing their vocabulary through reading and use of the dictionary; and developing strategies that promote confidence as English learners. To accomplish these goals, the course includes many short writing and editing assignments as well as computer-assisted grammar practice. The GPNC option may not be used. This course may be repeated until a satisfactory grade is achieved.
