EGL 311 - Literary or Critical History The study of a topic or school of literary criticism as it evolves over the course of centuries. Examples include an author’s influence over generations; the development of a specific type of literature (the sonnet, the epistolary novel); or the development of rhetorical theory. Covers the Literary / Critical History topic for the English major.
