EGL 272 - American Narratives of Race and Justice An investigation into the deep and tangled relationship between race and justice in the United States through examination of creative works (including literature, film, and memoir) alongside legal and political discourse (both historical and contemporary) in order to deepen understanding of how the past continues to shape the present and how new narratives surrounding race and justice might be created.
