ARS 308 - Writing About Art


An advanced topics course with a focus on research, analytical skills and writing about art. Students analyze essays by different artists, scholars, and critics about a central topic before selecting and developing their own related topic to research. The final project is a research paper that begins with a thesis statement and outline, includes several drafts, peer review, and a final product.

Prerequisite(s): ARH or ARS major/minor or permission of instructor
