AAS 216 - Introduction to Japanese Studies An introduction to Japanese culture as a foundation for understanding Japan. The changing historical experiences of the Japanese people are examined, exposing students to the diversity of backgrounds, values, and opinions in Japan. Japanese history and culture are also explored in relation to other countries and peoples, especially Korea and China.
