HDG 803 - General Dentistry Seminar IV This course is designed to evaluate the student’s ability to access, critically appraise, demonstrate applicability, and communicate scientific and lay literature as it relates to the provision of evidence-based general dentistry. Using skills attained in HDI 601 , and three years of clinical practice experience the students will select, research, and present a current topic to their peers and an interdisciplinary panel of faculty members. The topics selected will cover a range of subjects that affect the practitioner’s daily performance and are critical to the practitioner’s knowledge base. The course will also serve to provide the students with further experience in researching, preparing, and presenting to their colleagues.
