HEA 528 - External Relations in Higher Education This course will explore historical and contemporary influences that external entities have on institutional policy and practice. Various and complex stakeholder interests (e.g. corporations, government entities, grant-making agencies, alumni, etc.) will be examined from multiple lenses. Students will explore and discuss these issues and using a systems-approach to group projects, emulate the cross-functional committee work common in higher education.
