EDT 531 - Innovative and Advanced Technologies in Education: Foundations

In this course, participants will learn about principles, concepts, and skills for innovative and advanced technologies in education. Participants will explore innovative technology tools within the curriculum and examine the research behind technology pedagogy. Participants will investigate how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, are being applied across industries, careers, and educational environments. The culminating activity requires participants to analyze a field that relies heavily on innovative technologies and adapt an activity for classroom implementation that prepares students for future workforce and technology demands.
