MUS 520 - Introduction to Research and Writing for MM and DMA Students

An introduction to music research and bibliography for DMA and MM students in their first year of study.  Introduces students to music research databases and searching, proper bibliographic practices, score editions and other information relevant to doctoral research.  Writing and other academic skills will be a focus.  Administered as a synchronous seminar.  May be waived by proof of comparable course in earlier study.
