HNG 580 - Adv Sklls, Tchnologies & Clin Dec-Making Acte Cre

This course incorporates assessment, implementation, evaluation of advanced skills and technologies, and clinical decision making in the management of acutely ill patients. Recognition of client presentations requiring use of technology using evidence-based criteria will be addressed. Ethical, legal and psychological aspects, including the impact of technology on the client, family and health care system will be incorporated. An introduction to invasive interventions and diagnostic device application and interpretation will be facilitated through advanced skill labs and simulated experiences.
