HAO 562 - Principles of Instruction

Identifies issues facing health professions educators and application of knowledge of key education and behavior theories for occupational therapy practice. Explores commonly used instructional methods and applies these methods to a variety of teaching/learning situations found in occupational therapy education. Explores standardized tools to measure literacy, design of patient education materials for a specific population, and provision of health education information in a community setting.
