ECO 520 - Mathematical Statistics The first semester of a one-year course in quantitative methods. Statistical methods and their properties of particular usefulness to economists. Topics include probability theory, univariate and multivariate distributions, limiting distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing in the Economics Department or permission of the Graduate Director.
