Stony Brook University is dedicated to supporting undergraduate students in their academic journey toward timely degree completion. This policy aims to streamline the graduation application process and assist students in avoiding unnecessary courses that could delay their graduation.
Students who are likely to meet all University and Major/Minor degree requirements by the end of their current enrolled semester will have their graduation application automatically processed. A notification will be sent to students whose applications have been processed. Students will have the option to opt-out of this automatic processing by responding to the notification.
