Introduces acoustics, psychoacoustics, acoustical and articulatory properties of speech production, theories and models of speech perception and apply theoretical information with current technology and research in the field. Discusses instrumentation used to measure respiratory, laryngeal, velopharyngeal and pharyngeal components.
