BUS 380 - Honors: Emerging Topics in Business


This course aims to expose students to advancement and trendy topics in cutting-edge business practice or practice-relevant research in various business fields. Practice-relevant business research is drawn from various functional areas, such as accounting, data analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and operations. Research methodologies will be introduced, which may include survey design, interviewing, experimental design, archival empirical research, and popular modeling methods. The course incorporates mini-research or experiential learning cases related to business practice.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Business Honors Program and A- or better in BUS 215  or BUS 220
