BUS 365 - Financial Management Financial management techniques and analysis for improving business decision-making will be explored. Topics include: Long and short term financial decisions, debt and equity funding, capital structure, net working capital, inventory management, account receivable management, and how to deal with financial distress related to reorganization and/or liquidation in bankruptcy. The basics of payout policy will be discussed including dividends and stock repurchases. In addition, students will learn how companies finance merger and acquisition decisions, including leveraged buyouts.
