BIO 231 - Cannabis: History, Culture, Science & Medicinal Uses Provides a sound background in all aspects of cannabis, including the history of use worldwide, cannabis plant biology, the chemistry of cannabinoids and endocannabinoids, and the relationship to political, legal, and racism issues throughout history to the present. The purpose of this broad familiarization is to prepare students to contribute knowledgeably to the discussion and debate regarding the present and future uses of cannabis.
