JPN 311 - Advanced Japanese I An advanced course designed for the third-year students of Japanese to strengthen their ability to understand, speak, read, and write in the Japanese language. Students will be trained to apply communication strategies to various situations in Japanese daily-lives. Students will read and interpret a variety of Japanese texts, present their thoughts and ideas based on the texts, and practice various forms of writing including formal letters, essays, and memos by using vocabulary and kanji at an advanced level in Japanese as well as speak effectively in front of the intended audience in Japanese.
