GEO 496 - Research and Synthesize Scientific Literature in Geoscience An introduction to writing a scientific literature review in the field of geosciences. Students will gain experience using scientific journal article databases, selecting relevant research articles from the peer-reviewed literature, and summarizing information effectively in written form. This course is to be taken in conjunction with any 300- or 400-level GEO course. Successful completion of this course satisfies the SBC: categories WRTD and ESI.
