HAP 580 - Orthopedic Clerkship Provides students with practical experience in the care of patients with musculoskeletal disorders and acute injuries in the primary care setting. Students will develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to obtain directed patient histories, perform focused physical exams, make sound clinical decisions, and effectively consult and refer through exposure to patients with a wide variety of orthopedic problems. Students will learn to address a wide variety of personal and social issues that influence the care of the orthopedic patient.

Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of preclinical year courses.
