HAP 512 - Principles of Clinical Pharmacology


Physician assistant students will learn to rationally and safely prescribe pharmaceuticals for patients in a variety of clinical settings. Emphasizes the integration of pharmacologic principles and properties with the clinical uses of the most commonly prescribed medications and provides an opportunity for students to deepen understanding and application of knowledge in the setting of patient clinical cases. Reinforces and integrates course information with content learned during the Clinical Medicine courses of the PA curriculum.
