HAY 505 - Neurological Physical Therapy II The second of a three course series designed to prepare second year physical therapy students to evaluate and treat patients with neurological dysfunction during their clinical experiences. Fundamental assessment skills will include: PNF, bed mobility and trunk control, advanced gait, and motor control of the extremities. Introduces various treatment approaches and integrates approaches to create a comprehensive and patient-centered plan of care. Skills will be developed through role playing, videotape analyses, and clinical patient experiences. Lab experiences will require written and verbal justification for student clinical decisions.
