HNG 585 - Midwifery II This is the second of four sequential courses which builds upon the foundational concepts of clinical practice in midwifery. The focus of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of gynecology, maternal and fetal physiology, and antenatal care. The conceptual frameworks of health promotion, disease prevention are reinforced. The use of communication strategies and documentation principles are emphasized. This course furthers understanding of family-centered, community-based, multicultural care across the lifespan.
