HNG 578 - Advanced Theory & Clinical Practice in Perinatal/Neonatal Health Nursing III: High Risk Neonate I This is one of four sequential advanced theory and clinical practice courses in the neonatal nurse practitioner program. Emphasis is placed on the development of diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision making skills as essential components of the advanced practice role in providing care to high risk infants and their families in the acute care setting. Nursing theory and research for health promotion and management of the neonate and family within the context of a pluralistic society will be explored.
