HNG 572 - Advanced Theory and Clinical Practice in Family Health Nursing I
This is the first of four sequential clinical courses that focus on advanced nursing practice specializing in primary family health care. The major emphasis is on the development of clinical reasoning and critical thinking as essential components of the advanced practice role in family health nursing. An epidemiologic and body systems approach to common problems in primary health care will be applied along the health continuum. Optimal client outcomes within the context of a multicultural society will be explored.
