HNG 565 - Adv Thry Cln Pract in Neonatal Health Nursing II:Primary Care High Risk Infant This course focuses on the advanced health assessment skills required to provide primary care to high risk infants and their families within the context of a pluralistic society. The biological and psychosocial aspects are studies as a basis for nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on the role of the neonatal nurse practitioner in improvising the provision of primary care and follow-up services to high risk infants with the purpose of decreasing mortality and morbidity rates and improving the quality of life for these infants after discharged from the intensive care nursery.
