HNG 517 - Advanced Theory and Clinical Practice in Psychiatric/Mental Health I
Provides a theoretical and conceptual foundation for the advanced practice of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. The concept of mental health is based upon a comprehensive understanding of human interaction with the environment through a synthesis of arts, sciences, humanities and life experience. Emphasis will be place on the importance theory plays in defining knowledge necessary to assess human behavior, diagnose illness and to implement and evaluate treatment related to psychopathology.
