Provides an overview about counseling in speech-language pathology, specifically in interdisciplinary and collaborative healthcare and educational settings. Covers the role of the speech-language pathologist in the counseling process, contemporary counseling issues, models of counseling, multicultural issues and advocacy during prevention and wellness, screening, assessment and treatment in different service areas. Incorporates case studies and team-based learning.
