ECO 604 - Game Theory I


Elements of cooperative and non-cooperative games. Matrix games, pure and mixed strategies, and equilibria. Solution concepts such as core, stable sets, and bargaining sets. Voting games, and the Shapley and Banzhaff power indices.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing in the Economics Department or permission of the Graduate Director.
