AMS 538 - Methods in Neuronal Modeling Presentation of the mathematical modeling approach to information processing in nervous systems, from the level of individual ionic channels to large-scale neuronal networks. The course covers kinetic models of synaptic transmission, cable theory and compartment models for neurons, multiple channels and calcium dynamics, spike-train analysis and modeling small neuron networks.
