WSE 495 - WISE Honors Project/Thesis I


First course of a two-semester, six-credit, research or creative project in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to be approved by the WISE Honors Program and a faculty mentor. Both the WISE Honors Program and the selected faculty mentor provide ongoing project supervision.  After the completion of WSE 495 (or approved departmental substitution), a progress report is expected; at the completion of WSE 496 (or approved departmental substitution), the student must make an oral presentation at the University Honors Senior Symposium and must submit an appropriate thesis. Students only receive one grade upon completion of the sequence.
