WSE 380 - Research and Discovery in STEM


This course introduces students to the foundations of research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), while emphasizing the importance of ethical and responsible conduct. Blending theory with practice, students will explore research methodologies, such as literature review; research design; and data collection, analysis, and processing. The course also highlights essential skills for effective collaboration, clear communication, and meaningful engagement in research. Through exposure to a variety of STEM research areas, students will build the knowledge and practical tools necessary to engage in research and prepare for their WISE Honors Project.
